Now, the product itself is amazing. It’s the most natural, blendable faux-freckle product I’ve found.

HOWEVER! THE BIGGEST CON IS THE PEN— it will break no matter what you do. I even emailed the company after seeing so many reviews about the pen breaking. They told me it was happening because people were putting the cap on too tightly. So I followed their advice exactly: I was extremely gentle when recapping it and kept the pen elevated, just as recommended.

Despite all that, the pen still broke — and within about a month, the product itself turned green. I didn’t even notice until after I had already put it on my face while on my way somewhere. For the price, this should absolutely not be happening.

The company really needs to listen to the overwhelming customer feedback and fix this issue once and for all instead of continuing to sell a flawed product. You should not purchase this until the pen malfunction is resolved.

What makes it even more disappointing is the buildup: the product is always out of stock, you wait forever to finally order it, you’re excited when it arrives, and then just as you start using it… the pen breaks. Such a letdown for something that could otherwise be perfect.

Please, please, please FIX the packaging! This is the third time my freckle pen cap has cracked and now my pen won’t seal. I’ve been a customer for three years and can confirm I had this problem with my very first purchase in 2023 and reported it then and also notified you in early 2024 when I ordered my second pen and the same thing happened. I love the product but something has to change and since this is a widely known issue I wish it would be addressed because this is a fantastic product.

The product itself is good. The pen lid is poorly constructed. Breaks and causes product to dry up. The component is not well constructed.
The last order was never shipped. When I reached out I was told another shipment was placed and still no update.. I want to be mindful and allow the team to make corrections but when charging this much money the customer experience should match.. I hope the problems are corrected because I have repurchased

Like dozens of other reviews mentioned, the pressure mechanism in the cap eventually breaks and won’t close all the way leading to the product drying up. Factoring in shipping costs, this is a very expensive freckle pen and I only got to use it for a few weeks before it broke. Truly so frustrating and I wish I could get my money back. They’re selling a faulty product.

I’ve tried other fake freckles and this is the absolute best one so natural looking and easy to work with as someone who’s not too good at makeup LOVE LOVE LOVE
