Happy Tuesday, everyone! 🌞
A few weeks ago, Keke Palmer (@keke) posted bare faced and bravely about her skin journey in treating her severe acne! The severity was caused by something called Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), something I had only heard of once in passing. Out of curiosity, I learned more about the condition and realized there were so many women out there fighting against PCOS 🤯
In short -- PCOS is a condition where a woman's hormones are out of balance. It's a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges, which oftentimes leads to menstrual irregularity, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity as symptoms!
Are there any other women out there that fight against PCOS? Want to hear your story, what you do to mitigate symptoms, and encourage you when things are extra tough 💪🏻

I actually had to google what it was "A hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges.
The cause of polycystic ovary syndrome isn't well understood, but may involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Symptoms include menstrual irregularity, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity." > if anybody didn't know what PCOS was too!
