Today, we celebrate our skin!

What a better place to celebrate national skincare day than here in this community! Love to hear and see all your skin journeys.
I missed National Skincare Day! Ironically on this day I had my consultation with my new esthetician. I was doing so swell and then maskne came for me. Excited to start my new skincare journey (again πŸ˜…) on National Skincare Day πŸ₯°
I'm only 3 weeks in but I definitely see a difference. My acne scars appear brighter and the texture of my skin appears smoother now. I still have a long way to go (my acne scars are at least 10+ years old) but im happy with what im seeing so far
Ahhh I love hearing people's skincare journey!!! So important to remember that skin should be healthy, and not perfect. I've found that having unrealistic standards always drove me to abuse my skin a bit with too much product and especially actives... being gentle and minimal has really given my skin a chance to shine!
I have very dry skin, so I use a hydrating cleanser (ranavat or allies of skin). I still have some Source left from when we tried the product so I have been using that every day. It's so great, I haven't seen my skin flake at all since using Source. Then for moisturizer I use Honest Beauty Deep Hydration Face Cream.
But then I saw on the MondayBorn page that others were using the serum a little more liberally. Last night I used more and the redness started to fade!
I only used one drop for each cheek. That is where is I have some hyperpigmentation and texture issues.
These are great suggestions! And Sarina and Claire, I love the pictures!! I've only used rebirth a couple times now and have been a little nervous about applying it. The first thing I noticed when I got it was the texture was so different than I imagined it was going to be for an acid.
P.S. after watching so much and talking to skincare experts, I've learned to always be GENTLE with the skin on your face. This helps with avoiding creating small tears in the face and the skin on the face is already so fragile and thin . :)
