The summer solstice marks the beginning of summer (happening tonight at 8:31 PM PST)! With the advent of summer, we're so excited to get out and enjoy the sun. However, if we've learned one thing in skincare, it's to wear SPF at all times and it's indubitably important to wear it with the sun ablaze.
As a child, I used to have Coppertone slathered onto my face before jumping into the pool. My SPF game evolved to tinted sunscreen from Clinique which my skin reacted to terribly and now, I've landed on Biore's chemical sunscreen and a tinted sunscreen from Elta MD (love and adore this one).
Iโve been super curious about sunscreen mists for reapplication (over makeup too) throughout the day, any recommendations? Habit? Coola? Iโm always reluctant on trying new sunscreens with the fear of having a crazy break out...
My go to on no makeup days is the EltaMD UV Clear Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 and I can trust this wonโt break me out. BUT! Does anybody have tips on making sure this doesnโt pill?! I love this formula but for some odd reason, when I wear an essence during the day, this thing makes me look like I have eraser shavings all over my face ๐
Happy Summer! Iโm very serious when it comes to SPF (all year round, even when Iโm indoors) but I always struggle to reapply my sunscreen throughout the day.
