What salicylic acid face washes do you recommend? I recently bought the Murad Clarifying Cleanser but actually originally wanted to buy La Roche. I've only started using salicylic acid products in the last month so still waiting for results π€ hope it won't be drying!
i've only learned about "sebaceous filaments" this year from this video!! it was so relieving getting an accurate term/answer for all these white heads that gather on my nose and chin π the chin ones are especially difficult to remove! https://youtu.be/Ln8JaVc4HHo
Also my other dermatologist recommended K-pharm enzyme powder for overall softer skin and extracting whiteheads.. and IT WAS LIFECHANGING!!! I got it from him directly so idk where else you can buy them but I think as long as it's enzyme powder wash, it should be good. Anyone have any suggestions on enzyme powder washes?
This sounds so random but I've used baking soda to extract my whiteheads for years.. lol It's such an affordable, natural way to do it! My dermatologist recommended this method years ago and now I always have to make sure I packed some baking soda whenever I travel because I cannot live without it lol
I second that... sebaceous filaments ππ i have tons of them! I find that BHAs - salicylic acid works best at getting rid of them. Or an AHA/ BHA combo! For me I always need the BHAs! Iβm using the cosrx BHA blackhead powder liquid and itβs really working π
Sebaceous Filaments. Look it up and see if this fits. I've got these babies on my t zone. There is a lot of different advice on how to help these but the best results I've seen so far is taking BHA/AHA (Im on youth to the people kombucha toner at the moment) and run over them gently with a q tip for a whole minute.
They're really strong and successful at pulling out all the white/blck heads on my nose. I think I'll start using these now instead of BiorΓ©. Plus, it includes tea tree oil, hemp oil, and witch hazel!! (BiorΓ© does not) π€©π€
