the self-care guide you didn't know you needed...? 😆
nothing like Valentine's Day approaching to remind you that you're single 🙋♀️
this year I'm going to take this week to focus on me so I feel my best! did I tell you I'm extra?
so whether you're single, taken, over all of it...here's my very extra self-care routine that always makes me feel my best! 😍 we all deserve to feel our best!
1. take a bubble bath and bonus points if you use bath bombs and light a candle 🛁
this is the ultimate relaxation to me! if I take bath I like to exfoliate and shave my legs so I can self tan after. I love the frank coffee scrub to exfoliate! you get baby soft skin and it helps with eczema/ skin rashes
2. MASK everything -- I always feel better about myself when my skin looks it's best so I love reaching for a clay mask or something exfoliating so my skin is smooth after 👼
I like the innisfree charcoal clay mask or the pixi peel and polish! or a sheet mask if I'm doing my makeup after
if I'm washing my hair I'll **try** to throw on a hair mask like an overachiever 😂
I dread hair masks LOL but the Amika nourishing soul food mask is really hydrating and you don't have to leave it on for hours to notice. I always have spilt ends and I bleach my hair so this is a must for me
3. SELF TAN. ✨ I ALWAYS feel better about myself when I have a tan...ever heard the phrase 'if you can't tone it tan it' lololol. tan me = unstoppable 🙋♀️
I usually just self-tan at home because lazy but I love me a spray tan if I have a good place! 😂
if I want an easy tan I'll use lux unfiltered no 32 which is a gradual leave on lotion... If I want a dark tan I just got the Bondi Sands Liquid Gold aero tan and it's the prettiest dark, golden shade and it looks so natural/normal
Heeksswoah!!! I've never dared to try any face tanners! Did it give you any sort of skin irritation or weird patches?
You 100% have to exfoliate before! I have eczema so if it’s bad I’ll pass on this because yes it will look patchy! it’s subtle enough and my skin is decent rn so I can get away with using it! No irritation... the only time I’ve had that is the tanners w coconut oil!
