This is one of the most exciting days of 2021!!
I forgot how pumped I get when it's time for a new launch. 😆And this one is extra exciting because we're about to launch a :: droll roll, please! :: MOISTURIZER!
We've been hard at work with our lab, our packaging companies, and our Monday Born Experience to develop both the formula and the jar.
Now it's time to choose the package design!!
I'm not going to drag this out with too much info, but I'm going to share two potential package designs and I want to know which one you prefer.
OPTION 1:
OPTION 2:
Which one do you prefer?!!

Leave any additional feedback below, I'd love to hear why you chose the one you did!!

Both of them have that fancy looking theme, but I think number two look more sophisticated and nice!! I love #2 it goes perfect with the rest of the products!!!

I love both but if I had to choose it would be option 2! Love the font in the upper corner, it looks so classy, timeless and feels more cohesive with the rest of the brand. You really can’t go wrong with either though. Excited for this launch ♥️. Congratulations!

I love them both! But option two just matches the rest of the products. I like the clean sleek look of it being on the left side. Gotta keep it consistent! 🤍

Option 2 just works better, visually, alongside the other 2 products. The layout looks more luxurious and clean in option 2. Overall option 2 all the way as it embodies the same vibe as the other products! Looking forward to this product since I haven’t been able to find that perfect moisturizer!! 🤎🤍

You guys always kill it with the designs and always make it so hard for us to choose our favorite!! Number 2 for me, I love the writing on the opposite sides and the layout goes so well with the line drawing in the background! Can’t wait for the drop!!🖤🖤

Honestly, while both look great option 2 stands out. It goes in line with Rebirth where brand name and product name are off set of each other. I especially like the placement of brand name on option 2. It draws the eye to it and then the eye sort of follows and flows down the art onto the product name. I am so excited for this new launch to be among Source and Rebirth in my skin routine.

I think the second option works sooo well with the other two products. It’s similar but different at the same time. Can’t wait to try

I’m a perfectionist, so the Monday Born logo and product name for me looks very clean and balanced right in the center of the jar on option #1. My eye goes straight to it, just like it did with Rebirth.

I like that the text is all centered on option one. I find it easier to read. I also like the way the text for the product info sits under the line drawing.

I picked the second option because I like the classy and elegant look of having the brand name and product name separated. Then both get the opportunity to stand out on their own instead of blending together in the center. It makes every part of the packaging have a “stand out” moment just like the products themselves.

Option one seems to fit more of your brand as well as the packaging of the other products. The source has your brand showcased differently than the serum. Maybe the lotion should too 😁

In my opinion number two is the clear winner because I feel like it’s design almost tells a story. The layout of words ‘Monday born’ reminds me of the baobab fruit of the trees I used to see in my native land of Tanzania. They tend to dangle off to the edge of the tree. The trees reveal the presence of water nearby to the neighboring animals and indigenous people. They represent hope and life. Your brand reminds me of the beautiful tree from my homeland. The packaging is beautiful and makes me see the story of an strong independent immigrant woman who worked hard and created an exciting opportunity for herself and has inspired others. Thank you Teni for representing that with hard work and perseverance you can achieve anything. I love Rebirth currently and am so excited to try Source and the rest of your beautiful products!

With option 1 you can see the name of the brand and the description of the product in an instant. Option 2 is a bit more aesthetically pleasing; however, the brand and the description of the product are in different sections which just interrupts the flow of reading.

Both options look great! However, the concept of option 2 having the brand name printed on the upper side navigates the product (being the moisturizer here) into a new category, which for me would be hydration, verses maybe Rebirth and Source being in the treatment/exfoliation category. Hope that makes sense.. Can’t wait for the new launch!! I’m a face cream enthusiast, so this is pretty exciting news. Best of luck!

I like option 1, where the product name and description are unobstructed and plainly visible on the container. I know for me, when I open my medicine cabinet I want to be able to recognize each product quickly. I actually have a couple jars in my cabinet now where the label runs all way around and I covered it with a post-it to make sure I can identify the product at first glance.

I love option 1, I think for me I like the fact that the name says it across the bottle.

The reason I chose option two is because the font of "The Seven" is louder and more upfront so you know what the product is, while not taking away from the "monday born" label at the top. I also like how the three products together create a story where they all look very similar but each have their own *unique* flare in regards to their product type/name!

I choose option 2. It’s more aesthetically pleasing. I like the two line Monday born like in rebirth. I like how there is space between the product name and the brand it’s not all in the center. It almost allows me to appreciate the art beneath it as well. I’m so excited for this product. Rebirth and source have changed my skin! 😁😍

I absolutely LOVE them both but my eyes automatically went with option #1! I just like that I’m not searching the bottle for what it is. It’s just symmetrical to me and my eyes just gravitate towards that! I think that design just flows with the other 2 products and it looks sophisticated to me !🖤✨

Option 2! #2’s design goes along great with Rebirth and Source. One of things that I just love about this brand is the line art. With option 2, you can really see the beautiful graphic on the container and with that it’s aesthetically more pleasing. It will look less “busy” going with option 2. 🤍 (either way, whichever option you move forward with, this product will also look nice on my dresser...already planning on purchasing 😂)

I like option 2 the best! I went back and forth through the photos and every time option 2 was more aesthetically pleasing. The first time I saw the photos at first glance, my eyes went straight to option 2. I feel like it balances out the design and overall just looks more balanced. I think option 1 looks almost too crowded, too much text and everything jumbled all in one area. I think the reason why is because this particular container for the moisturizer is a lot shorter and & wider than The other two products. I think the height and the width all the containers really matter with the design and the text. When I think of Monday born i literally instantly feel and imagine a tranquil, zen, calming and relaxing experience. Like I could imagine being in a spa with the most peaceful ambiance lol. So I feel like option 2 gives me that vibe and that aesthetic. The other two products (source & rebirth) were perfectly designed and the font placement worked because source is super tall and thinner, and rebirth is obviously taller than the moisturizer as well. So yes I hope that makes sense! I love option 2! (I literally notice the tiniest details like that, I swear I analyze things as much as I breath lol)

Option 2 for sure. From a graphic design perspective, the typography and placement of text in Option 2 is more balanced and gives a more luxurious look that is consistent with the rest of the products, while still allowing each product to have their own identity. The line art in the back allows your eyes to naturally flow from the brand name to the product name. Option 1 is too busy, as the centered Monday Born text clashes with the line art.
