My Easy Complexion Routine

One of the reasons I went into skincare instead of color is because I’m so much more comfortable in less makeup. I like to enhance what I’ve already got going on with just a light layer if I’m going to wear makeup at all, so I’m sharing my simple complexion routine for everyday!

In the AM, I begin with my usual trio: Source, Frequen-C, and The Seven. These make up my morning skincare and serve as my base if I choose to wear makeup.

If I’m going the makeup route, the very next thing I put on is the Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral SPF. It’s got a slight tint and an SPF 36, but it gives my complexion such a nice evenness and glow– it’s beautiful! (If I’m going with no makeup, I typically use the Live Tinted HueGuard Mineral Sunscreen and just stop there.)

My next complexion must-have is the YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch. (I use number 3.) It’s lightweight, provides light to medium coverage, and brightens up the center of your face. It comes in an easy to use pen with a brush head and you just click the button at the end to dispense the product.

I also reach for the Persona Cosmetics Dream Stick in Dune anytime I wear makeup. This is yet another easy to use (stick) product that effortlessly blends to add a nice amount of warmth and dimension to my face.

Another complexion must-have is a good cream blush! Lately I’ve been using the Wetman Atelier blush stick in Chouchette which is a gorgeous neutral pink shade; again, easy to blend and brings so much life to my face.

What are some of your complexion must-haves that I should try?
