i like that the slant tip is more gentle on the lips!! the results in the demo video for the slant tip is the most impressive to me too based on the pigmentation, ease of use and precision
After looking them over Slant tip looks BEAUTIFUL! The application looked so smooth giving someone like me who hasn’t used a lip stain before confidence that this will be very beginner friendly.
I was also torn between felt and slant tip, I am used to felt tips but they can sometimes pill and get felt balls on the lips if they get too saturated with product! At least that’s what I’ve seen in the past with ~some~ felt tips!! So I’m going with slant, I like the brush tip I think it’s intuitive and seems like it would be the softest on the lips!
Initially, I was struggling to choose between the felt tip and the slant tip. At first I was drawn to the felt tip because it looked very beginner friendly. However, after rewatching the videos, it looks like the color payoff might not be as consistent. I also think that tip may dry out more quickly. So I decided on the slant tip! It has the most flexibility (physically and application wise), good and consistent color pay off, and looks easy to apply. For eyeliners, I prefer brush tips to felt tips, so I’m excited to try this brush tip on my lips! I haven’t seen anything else like this on the market and that’s exciting too. Fingers crossed for multiple colors!
