Hi! As far as taste goes I know that boiling water can make the tea taste even more bitter. When it comes to the texture I'm going to agree with the rest on using a blender/frother π But don't get disappointed! My first try making matcha was also a disaster π
Donβt be too hard on yourself, homemade matcha rarely tastes the same because coffee shops make them sweeter and have the proper tools to prepare the milk π΅π₯π― I second getting a milk frother for a better chance of achieving that latte milk texture. Heat the milk and then froth it at an angle (the goal is thickness and a slight foam but no actual bubbles.) Good luck π / Ex-barista
